[EL015] Lainhart, Weinstock, Creek, Morris – Live 2010
A collaboration I did with Richard Lainhart, Steve Weinstock, and Jez Creek at Electro-Music 2010 has been released on my net label Ethereal Live today in honor or Richard Lainhart on his birthday.
It was a great honor to play with Richard and I cherish this live set the four of us played together on 09.11.10 in Huguenot, NY, USA. The music is a mix of ambient, electronic, and experimental sounds with Richard on his signature Buchla.

Tribute to Philip K Dick – Set the Penfield Mood Organ for Aware – released today for PKD’s 83rd birthday on Buddhist on Fire net label. This is a deeply meditative ambient release based around the idea of the Penfield Mood Organ, a household device PKD wrote about in “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep” which used sound to modulate moods and behaviors in people. Trying to keep with the spirit of Dick and Penfield‘s ideas, in conjunction with numerous musical sounds, I also employed the use of specific alpha and beta brain wave tones throughout the album to tie in the concept of how the mood organ affects a psychological as well as a physiological state on a practitioner.
